What is CyberScope?

CyberScope is a comprehensive OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) platform designed to help security professionals gather and analyze publicly available information. Our platform provides easy-to-use tools for IP geolocation, phone number analysis, and username verification across social media platforms.

Overview

The IP Tracker tool analyzes public IP addresses and provides detailed geolocation and ISP information. This tool is useful for understanding the geographical location and infrastructure behind internet addresses.

How to Use

1. Navigate to the IP Tracker section on the home page
2. Enter a valid public IP address (e.g., 8.8.8.8)
3. Click "Analyze IP" button
4. View detailed results including country, city, ISP, and coordinates

Data Returned

Accuracy Notes

IP geolocation data is typically accurate to the city level. Accuracy can vary depending on the IP address type (residential, datacenter, mobile) and the data source. VPNs and proxies may mask the true location.

API Data Sources

Our IP Tracker uses the ip-api.com service which aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources including:

• WHOIS databases
• Regional Internet Registries (RIRs)
• MaxMind GeoIP2
• Other public IP databases

Overview

The Phone Lookup tool analyzes phone numbers to extract metadata including country information, carrier details, and line type classification. This is useful for verifying phone numbers and understanding their origin.

How to Use

1. Go to the Phone Lookup section
2. Enter a phone number with country code (e.g., +14155552671)
3. Click "Analyze Phone" button
4. View carrier and location information

Supported Formats

Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format:

Data Returned

• Country: Country where the number is registered
• Carrier: Telecommunications provider
• Line Type: Mobile, Landline, or VoIP

Limitations

• Results are limited to publicly available carrier information
• Private or unlisted numbers may not return complete data
• Carrier information may take time to update after number transfers

The Username Scanner searches for a given username across multiple social media and web platforms, helping you verify digital identities and find online accounts.

CyberScope currently searches across these platforms:

• Instagram - Photo sharing and social networking
• GitHub - Code repository hosting
• Twitter/X - Microblogging and social media
• Reddit - Discussion and community platform

How to Use

1. Navigate to the Username Scanner section
2. Enter a username to search for
3. Click "Scan Platforms" button
4. Review results showing which platforms have the username
5. Click on "Found" status to visit the profile directly

Result Interpretation

Found: The username exists on this platform and a direct link is provided

Not Found: The username does not exist on this platform or the account is private/deleted

Tips for Username Searching

• Try variations if the exact username is not found
• Keep in mind usernames may differ across platforms
• Private/locked accounts may not appear in results
• Recently deleted accounts may take time to be delisted
